Meet Coach Ness.

I'm Annessa Nguyen—Coach Ness to most.

Tennis has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in Chicago, competed through high school, played collegiate tennis at Virginia State University, and eventually built a career around coaching, player development, community outreach, and creating opportunities through the sport.

Over the last 15+ years, I've worked across nearly every layer of the game—from introducing children to their first racquet to developing competitive juniors, coaching high school programs, leading community outreach, building tennis programs, educating parents, and creating experiences that bring people into the sport in completely different ways.

But the longer I've worked in tennis, the clearer something has become:

My work isn't only about teaching people how to play tennis.

It's about what becomes possible when people feel confident, challenged, connected, and supported.

That's what I'm building through ATTA.
